The objective is not perfect historic preservation (unlike the approach of a preservationist), but a thoughtful embracing of what is already there, allowing architectural themes to influence the very real needs of modernization.

- Consultant for the Northampton Historic Commission assessing the architectural significance of buildings slated for demolition
- David Ruggles Center for Early Florence History and Underground Railroad Studies
- Consultant to dating houses that are being researched
- Has worked on numerous significant historic homes for the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities (SPNEA)
- Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in sculpture from Rhode Island School of Design
